Secret Cinema are doing an immersive Christmas experience from 14 November until the 7th of January at Waterloo.
What is Wishmas
The Wishmas experience is described as a 60-minute walkthrough experience where you'll meet festive characters as you explore magical rooms and play your part to ensure no wish is ever forgotten.
What is included in the Full Wishmas Experience
- Experience an exciting 75-minute immersive winter-time adventure
- Discover the story of Wishmas as you embark on a unique adventure with the Wishkeepers, Robins and even Father Christmas himself
- Journey through the Wishmas craft workshop and make your very own special memento
- Explore the Wishmas market and enjoy delicious festive treats
Tickets
The Full Wishmas Experience starts at £49 for a weekend ticket before Christmas. You'll want to book fast because these seem like early bird prices as the prices in December go up to £79 already.
Children under 2 are free. You can upgrade to a Meet & Greet with Santa for an additional £30 pp (we skipped).
The basic Wishmas Experience is £10 cheaper but doesn't seem to include the special memento and wishmas market, I'm not sure. They succeeded in making me impulse buy the Full experience anyway out of fomo.
My expectations of a Secret Cinema event
I've had great experiences with Secret Cinema in the past, having been to their Star Wars and Stranger Things events.
They always did a great job recreating the evironments of these movies and the actors walking among the visitors add a touch of immersive magic to the event. Especially at the Stranger Things event the likeness to the main characters in the serie was uncanny!
I'm very excited to see what they will put up for a magical Christmas adventure for the whole family!
